Tie One On for Safety
The
Tennessee State Office of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will kick
off its 20th annual holiday safe driving campaign with
a special lunchtime Brentwood event. This year's event, in partnership
with MIX 92.9 and the Brentwood Chick-Fil-A, takes
place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at
Chick-Fil-A, 330 Franklin Pike in Brentwood.
This popular holiday campaign, known as Tie One On For Safety,
urges motorists to tie red ribbons on their vehicles as a pledge
to drive safe, sober and buckled up all year, but especially from
Thanksgiving Day to New Year's Day. Chick-Fil-A will be giving
away 25 free lunches and MIX 92.9 will be on hand to provide music,
movie tickets and more.
Area law enforcement representatives and community leaders are
invited to participate in this year's kick off event. Please join
us and pick up your red ribbons to demonstrate your support for
keeping Tennessee roads safe for everyone.
